June 13 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Wagenknecht IP Law Group is pleased to be the 2019 sponsor of this fourth, and final, SBIT/STTR workshop that is organized by USD’s The Brink. Ray Wagenknecht, Managing Patent Attorney, will provide attendees with helpful information regarding intellectual property as they consider applying for grants and other funding types. The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer Research ( STTR) programs, also known as America’s Seed Fund, are one of the largest sources of early-stage capital for technology commercialization in the United States.
SBIR and STTR are federal programs that allow small businesses to compete for research dollars to test, prototype and commercialize new products. Small businesses are creative and flexible and can bring new solutions to the market quickly. http://catcher.sandiego.edu/items/usd/USD%20SBDC%20PTAC%20SBIR%20STTR%20JULY%2012%202018-2.pdf
